CityArts at the Gladstone Hotel: October 31st 2 PM to 6 PM

CityArts will be hosting a party at The Gladstone Hotel on October 31, 2010, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  Come join us this Halloween as we launch our winter programs including: Learn to Rock!, Rock Band, Rock Band Plus+ and the CityArts / University of Toronto Faculty of Music community programs.

We will be programming an afternoon of music at The Gladstone Hotel's Ballroom and Melody Bar.  A photography exhibit, featuring photographs taken by Devin Dubeau at the Summer 2010 CityArts Toronto Rock Camp will also be on taking place in the Ballroom.

Voting is now open for the Best of Summer 2010 CityArts Toronto Rock Camp CD.  You can vote for your five (5) favourite Original Songs and five (5) favourite Cover Songs.  Voting will close on Friday, October 22, 2010, at 11:59:59 PM.   Two polls are open on the sidebar of http://www.cityarts.ca.  Please see the enclosed graphic.

CityArts Rocks the Gladstone Hotel: Event Timetable

On October 31st, 2010, CityArts Rocks the Gladstone Hotel.  Join us on Halloween Day and celebrate the launch of our winter programs, the publication of a book of Devin Dubeau's CityArts Toronto Rock Camp photographs and the launch of Best of Summer 2010 Compilation CD.  We will have a multi-media event and concert in the Gladstone Ballroom and a program of acoustic music in the Melody Bar.  Preliminary details are as follows:

Concert and Thanksgiving Celebration for 200 Wellesley Families

On September 26, 2010, a devastating fire swept through the highrise apartment building at 200 Wellesley Street East.  Over 1,200 people were left without a home.  Some of these families had children who attended the Our Lady of Lourdes Public School, summer home of the CityArts Toronto Rock Camp.

On Saturday, October 9, 2010, a special thanksgiving celebration and concert will take place at the Our Lady of Lourdes school for the members of the community.  CityArts will supply the entertainment for the event.
